The State System of Education Indicators 2020 published

The National Institute of Educational Evaluation (INEE) has published a new report on the State System of Education Indicators 2020. It analyzes 18 indicators about our educational system, from Nursery to Higher Education. They are distributed in three large blocks: schooling, funding and educational results, as well as the impact of education and training in the labour and economic sphere of our country. Statistical data are available at both national and Autonomous Community level.

The TIMSS 2019 international results in mathematics and science is now available

Promovido por la Asociación Internacional para la Evaluación del Rendimiento Educativo (IEA, International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement) se acaba de publicar el informe español TIMSS 2019 que evalúa el rendimiento en matemáticas y ciencias del alumnado de 4º Grado (4º de primaria en España) y 8º Grado (2º ESO en España). En España han participado más de 9.500 estudiantes, solo de 4º de primaria, ampliando muestra las CC.AA de Castilla y León, el Principado de Asturias, Cataluña y la Rioja, así como las ciudades de Ceuta y Melilla y Madrid como participante de referencia. En total han participado 64 países de todo el mundo. El detalle de todos los resultados se pueden encontrar en el INFORME ESPAÑOL, y de manera más resumida en las INFOGRAFÍAS realizadas con los principales resultados.

PISA report 2018 on global competition

La OCDE acaba de publicar el informe PISA 2018 sobre Competencia Global. Esta competencia se analiza por primera vez en las pruebas PISA, y evalúa el conocimiento, las destrezas, actitudes y valores de los alumnos de 15-16 años en cuestiones globales como la interculturalidad, el bien común, el respeto o el desarrollo sostenible entre otros. El 68% del alumnado español supera el nivel básico de rendimiento en esta competencia global. Este informe también recoge proyectos de buenas prácticas en esta competencia llevados a cabo en centros educativos de nuestro país. Dos de estos proyectos son de centros de nuestra comunidad, el IES Clara Campoamor y el IES Pedro de Luna.

El Consejo Escolar de Aragón, órgano consultivo y de asesoramiento y participación de toda la comunidad educativa de Aragón, acaba de publicar su último informe con los datos educativos más destacados de nuestra comunidad en enseñanzas no universitarias durante el curso 2018-2019. Este informe cuenta con la participación de los representantes de los distintos sectores de la comunidad educativa, con el objetivo de favorecer un mayor conocimiento de la enseñanza en Aragón y fomentar la mejora de nuestro sistema educativo.

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has presented the latest Education Overview 2020 report with the latest international statistics and indicators on structure, the financing, performance and evolution of education systems in the countries belonging to that institution, as well as the impact of training on the labour market and the economy. The Spanish report contains the most outstanding data from Spain compared to the other member states and the European Union.

Cefyca survey of teachers to assess the impact of school closures.

Cefyca has implement a survey of 634 teachers in Aragon to assess the impact of its closure by COVID19, as well as the real impact on teachers to adapt the Aragonese Education System to these new circumstances.The links have been sent to the headmasters of the educational establishments for redistribution among the members of their teacher staff. The survey will be open from 3 to 14 June.
